About Je T’Aime
Buenos Aires, the Paris of South America, is where Je T'aime was born; from a personal connection to a country that has faced years of economic hardship, where inflation and unemployment have hit working families and rural communities especially hard.
By choosing to manufacture here, we are making a deliberate decision to invest in Argentine hands, Argentine factories, and the Argentine economy — not just source from it. At Submerge, we proudly manufacture this collection in Latin America. Every shirt you wear is a small act of solidarity with a country that deserves more than it's been given. Manufacturing locally means real jobs, real wages, and real dignity for the people who make them.
When you purchase a Je T'aime shirt, it is handcrafted by a premium Argentine manufacturer based in Villa Maipú, San Martín, Buenos Aires. They are one of Argentina's most trusted garment producers, and every piece that leaves their facility is built to last.
Your Impact When Buying
For every two shirts sold, one is donated directly to Fundación Sí — an Argentine nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for people living in situations of social vulnerability. Since its founding, the organization has worked across the country to support individuals experiencing homelessness, expand access to education through its university residence program, respond to emergencies, and strengthen communities through long-term social initiatives.
Rather than providing only short-term aid, Fundación Sí focuses on building lasting opportunities and helping people regain stability, dignity, and independence.
The Shirt Itself
The Je t'aime shirts are made from 100% combed jersey cotton (24/1 thread count) — a finer, smoother grade of cotton that results in a noticeably softer hand feel compared to standard jersey. The cut is a clean, classic straight fit: relaxed enough for all-day wear, structured enough to look intentional. It is a lightweight material that works for all four seasons.
