About Us
In 2022, fashion was just an interest for us, something we explored by experimenting with our own styles. Over time, our closets overflowed with clothes we no longer wore, a reflection of how quickly we were growing and evolving. By the summer of 2024, our moms told us to clear it all out. At first, we didn’t know what to do. Then it clicked, why not take what we had and flip it into something new?
We started small, selling our old pieces on Depop under the name Eastcoast Thrift. What began as a way to clean out our closets turned into a steady hustle. Piece by piece, sale by sale, we realized there was something bigger here. Soon we were hitting thrift stores across NYC, sourcing clothes, shooting photos, and grinding to keep our page alive. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was real.
After months of flipping clothes, we felt a pull to create something of our own. We wanted more than just reselling, we wanted to build a brand that reflected our creativity, vision, and culture. In the winter of 2024, we took that leap and started Submerge. With nothing but ideas, late nights, and relentless work, we put together our first release. In March 2025, we dropped the Submerge Oversized T-Shirts 1.0, our very first step into the world we had only dreamed about a year before.
Now, as we gear up for our End of Summer Collection, dropping in just about two weeks, we couldn’t be more excited. This is the next chapter of what we’ve been building brick by brick, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming with you. From our bedrooms to our brand, this is only the beginning.
